After graduating general education from the University of Indonesia Faculty of Medicine in 1972, he continued his Internal Medicine Specialization at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia and graduated in 1979. Then he received his inauguration as a Consultant for Kidney Hypertension. He studied science and won the title of Professor at the Faculty of Medicine in Indonesia and graduated in 1998.

He has more than 40 years of experience in Internal Medicine.

He actively participates in training to update his science such as the Post Graduate Course on Uro-Nephrology "Common problems in Uro-Nephrology (2011)
