After graduating from the University of Indonesia Faculty of Medicine in 1985, he continued his Internal Medicine Specialization at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Indonesia and graduated in 1995. He has more than 25 years of experience in Internal Medicine.
The medical procedures that he specializes include:
- Endoscopy: A medical procedure performed to diagnose issues in your body without significant surgery.
- Gastroscopy and Colonoscopy: Used to directly visualize problems in the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract, such as the throat, stomach, duodenum, and large intestine.
- Variceal and hemorrhoid ligation: Procedures to treat varicose veins and hemorrhoids.
- Polypectomy: Surgical removal of polyps, which are abnormal tissue growths.
