He is a specialist in General Surgery (Minimal and Open Surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery). A graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Sebelas Maret State University, Surakarta in 1989 and continued his education at the Surgical Section of the Faculty of Medicine, Diponegoro University, Semarang in 2002.

He has devoted himself for 18 years in the field of medicine, especially Surgery.

He actively participates in training and seminars such as:

• The Fellowship of Indonesian College of Surgery (FInaCS) - Association of Indonesian General Surgery Specialists
• Surgical Nutrition in practice - FK Universitas Indonesia Bandung.

He is active as a member of the Indonesian Doctors Association and the Indonesian Surgeons Association.
