Ear disease in children can be caused by several things, one of cause is infection. Infection can cause pain in the child's ear. Here are some examples of ENT diseases that are often experienced by children.
Hearing Loss
The cause of an ear infection may be from the outer or middle ear, and this is also the cause of hearing loss. Symptoms may vary depending on age. In infants and children, we can see from the way they pull their ears, scratch their ears, hearing problems, crying, restlessness, fever, vomiting, and discharge from the ears.
Snoring
It is not only adults who snore, but children often snore just like adults. Usually, snoring is very strong, and they breathe until they make a loud sound, this will result in nasal congestion, allergies, enlarged (swollen) tonsils. Adequate attention is important for this condition, if the cause is due to enlarged tonsils, then the best way is to remove the tonsils.
Sinusitis
It's a sinus infection, the cause of which is predictably by cold weather. Antibiotic drug is one that is recommended. Failure to eradicate sinusitis will lead to a chronic condition in which one of the best ways is surgery. If a person has allergies, they will tend to experience very strong symptoms.
Stuffy nose
The most common symptoms that last for months are nasal congestion and breathing through the mouth. Cases like this can be seen with the flu. However, if it occurs repeatedly within a period of more than 2 weeks, it needs an evaluation from an ENT doctor.
Chronic cough
Prolonged cough is also caused by allergies. Other causes are also infections of the lungs and asthma. If you have a prolonged cough, then it isn't a normal symptom, and you need to immediately evaluate to your doctor.
Sore throat
Tonsils and pharyngitis are the most common causes. High fever in children is also associated with their tonsils. If this happens repeatedly, then you should check with an ENT doctor who will help overcome it.
